Job Title: Marketing Assistant – Part Time

We are currently hiring for the position of marketing assistant, this consists of assisting in all marketing strategies in support of the sales executive. The hours are 15-20 hours week- 5 days week – mornings.

Tasks

  • Assist in mailing sales and marketing materials, which include letters, postcards and newsletters.
  • Database entry, using a software input and manage customer information.
  • Follow social media calendar posting on various blogging sites
  • Telephone- setting appointments for estimates with prospects
  • Maintain and follow daily reminder list of marketing activities
  • Prepare company newsletter Print/Email and send out
  • Prepare, send out press releases and announcements to list of local media contacts
  • Attend 2 local trade shows per year
  • Social media, maintain company social media sites

Qualifications and Experience

  • Willingness to learn
  • Enjoys meeting new people over the phone
  • Has some experience with a CRM or any software program
  • Some experience in telephone appointment setting
